The Longbow is a powerful bow that is considered a Superior Weapon. It has double the range of a regular bow and counts as a Weapon:3 instead of 2.

Longbows cannot be shot from horseback or from a sitting or prone position.

From a roleplaying perspective, longbows require years of physical training to use properly. The archer must condition certain muscle groups to a high degree, and also learn to account for wind and the target's motion.
