The Scout is a character class that excels in stealth, mobility, and cunning. The scout is the best class at detecting and evading danger.
Play a Scout if:
- you want to think on your feet and improvise--a lot
- you're willing to wait for the right moment to use your best move
- you can laugh when a trap goes off in your character's face
Consider a different class if:
- you want to do a lot of damage in combat. In Adventure Band, scouts can fight, but they do less damage than Warriors.
- you hate it when your plan goes sideways
- making complicated tactical decisions every turn doesn't appeal to you
Creating a Scout
Optionally, choose one of the Scout Archetypes

- Stealth lets you escape or ambush your enemies.
- Athletics lets you dodge attacks and traps and gives you mobility.

- Fighting and Shooting are important.
- Rapport makes you a smooth talker.
- Deception helps you trick your enemies (or the authorities).
- Lore helps you understand the ancient ruins and strange inscriptions you may encounter.
