This stunt confers two benefits:
When you are wielding a shield, your Armor rating increases by 1. In addition, '''Shield''' becomes a situational Aspect you can use to aid Defend rolls, and you can use the Create an Advantage action to get free invocations of it.
# When you are wielding a [[Shield (equipment) | shield]] and your opponent's Attack roll ties your Defense, that's treated as a miss. Your opponent neither gets a Boost nor does any damage with that attack.
#If your shield is larger than a [[buckler]], you can use [[Fighting]] to [[Defend]] against ranged attacks.

This stunt confers two benefits:

  1. When you are wielding a shield and your opponent's Attack roll ties your Defense, that's treated as a miss. Your opponent neither gets a Boost nor does any damage with that attack.
  2. If your shield is larger than a buckler, you can use Fighting to Defend against ranged attacks.
